This policy applies to all users of FoziScribe, including visitors, registered account holders, and paying subscribers.

When you sign in with Google, we receive the following:

We do not collect your Google password or any other Google account credentials.

Usage & Transcription Data

Account & Subscription Data

• To create, manage, and secure your FoziScribe account.
• To deliver and improve the transcription service.
• To enforce credit limits, plan allowances, and fair-use policies.
• To detect and prevent fraudulent use, abuse, or violation of our Terms of Service.
• To respond to your support requests and communications.
• To send important notices about your account, plan, or changes to our service.
• To maintain internal records and analytics about service usage (aggregated and anonymised where possible).

OpenAI (Audio Processing)

When you transcribe audio, your file is transmitted to OpenAI's API for processing. OpenAI receives the audio content but does not receive your name, email, or any identifying information from us. OpenAI's use of this data is governed by their own Privacy Policy.

Supabase (Database & Authentication)

We use Supabase (Postgres) to store account data and transcription history. Your data is stored on Supabase's infrastructure. Their use is governed by the Supabase Privacy Policy.

Legal Requirements

We may disclose your data if required to do so by law, court order, or in response to a valid request by a governmental authority in India, provided we are legally permitted to notify you first.

Business Transfers

In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of Zapiwala AI, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify affected users before any such transfer takes effect.

Only the resulting transcript text, filename, and duration are stored in your account history. You can delete individual transcription records from your history at any time.

Please ensure you have the necessary rights to transcribe any audio you upload. Do not upload audio containing sensitive personal data of others without their consent.

• All data transmission between your browser and our services is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS.
• Account data is stored in Supabase which provides enterprise-grade security, encryption at rest, and access controls.
• Authentication is handled entirely by Google Sign-In — we never store your password.
• Access to user data in our admin systems is restricted to authorised personnel only.

While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, no system is 100% secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at support@foziscribe.ai.

To request deletion of your account and all associated data, email us at support@foziscribe.ai.

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and applicable Indian law, you have the following rights:

• Right to access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Right to correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Right to erasure: Request deletion of your account and personal data.
• Right to withdraw consent: You may withdraw consent by deleting your account. This does not affect the lawfulness of processing prior to withdrawal.
• Right to grievance redressal: You may raise a complaint about the handling of your data with us, and we will respond within a reasonable time.

• Session storage: We store your login session temporarily in your browser. This is cleared when you close the browser tab.
• No tracking cookies: We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
• Google Sign-In: Google may set cookies as part of the authentication flow. This is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

FoziScribe is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected such data, we will delete it promptly.

FoziScribe integrates with the following third-party services:

FoziQ uses YouTube API Services. FoziQ is FoziScribe's YouTube research tool. If you choose to connect a YouTube channel to FoziQ, we access data from your YouTube account through YouTube API Services, with your permission, using Google's OAuth sign-in. Google's handling of that data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy, and your use of YouTube by the YouTube Terms of Service.

What we access

We ask for two read-only permissions and nothing else:

• View your YouTube account (youtube.readonly): your channel's name, handle, description, country, profile image, channel keywords, and subscriber, view and video counts; and your uploaded videos' titles, descriptions, tags, durations, publish dates and view, like and comment counts.
• View YouTube Analytics reports for your channel (yt-analytics.readonly): for each of your videos, views, watch time, average percentage viewed, and subscribers gained and lost; and, for your channel, daily views and subscribers gained and lost.

How we use it

• To show you your own channel in FoziQ: your baseline, growth, uploads, top videos and milestones.
• To research the tags on your channel and your top videos into your personal keyword library, and to show which keywords your videos rank for.
• To notify you — in the app and by email — when your channel passes a views or subscribers milestone. You can unsubscribe from these emails at any time.

Your YouTube Analytics data is shown only to you. We do not sell your YouTube data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties. Information about your channel and videos that is already public on YouTube — the same information any viewer can see — may appear in FoziQ's research results in the same way as any other public channel.

How we store it

• Your Google access tokens are encrypted before they are stored, and are never shown in the browser.
• While your channel is connected, its data is refreshed regularly. Any YouTube data we have not refreshed within 30 days is deleted or refreshed.

Revoking access and deleting your data

• Disconnect in FoziQ: on the Your channel page, choose Disconnect. We revoke our access at Google straight away and delete the YouTube data we hold for that channel within 7 days. Reconnecting within that time picks up where you left off.
• Revoke at Google: you can remove FoziQ's access at any time from your Google security settings. We delete the YouTube data we hold for that channel within 30 days of the revocation.
• Ask us to delete it: email support@foziscribe.ai from the address on your account, and we will delete your YouTube data within 7 days.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.

For material changes that significantly affect how we handle your data, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you via the email address associated with your account before the changes take effect.

Continued use of FoziScribe after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
